The excellent location on Alcoa Road in Benton is a large freestanding building that includes a Patio under roof in front, which is very popular. I have eaten @ the smaller strip shopping center location on Red Wolf Boulevard in Jonesboro too.
I ordered & paid @ the counter, then my meal was cooked to order & delivered to my table fresh & hot.
The Employees were friendly & service-oriented, checking on me 3 times as I enjoyed my Honey BBQ Wings & Chicken Tenders with Slim Chickens special tasty sauce. I tried the Mango Habanero sauce, too, but it was a bit spicy for my taste. There is an ever-expanding list of hand-made dipping sauces.
The quality of the hand-breaded chicken items is very good ~ Slim Chickens is growing on me fast ~ may soon become my go-to chicken fave -

I don't like to give bad reviews, but this was disappointing. My cayenne chicken sandwich was slightly larger than a slider with cold dried out bun and maybe four crispy onion straws. Nothing like the other times we had ordered this sandwich. We paid for extra sauces for a ten piece strip dinner and fried pickles, and received only two sauces in total. Should have checked bag in drive thru. The Mac n cheese was good as were the strips and pickles. Has the chicken breast been made smaller for the sandwiches?

Have just joined the "wing mania" in the past few years so was excited to try theirs after hearing good things.... & was not disappointed! Any time hubby & I have been in, the place was clean & the staff was helpful. They seem to struggle a smidge on the drive-through, hence the loss of a star, but it's definitely gotten better... & we keep going back ;-)
We also got another straight-up wing franchise down the road not long after this opened & gotta say: I don't think they can hold a candle to Slim's! Def worth a stop, y'all - enjoy! -

Not impressed. We walked over from the truck stop.
Look the chicken strips are small and for what you get I think it's expensive.
$11 and some change for 7 thin slices of chicken strips a handful of fries and drink? You can have a Golden Corral buffet for a few dollars more.
The service was decent and the cashier was nice.
We arrived at 9pm and they said they didn't have any waffle batter for the waffle and chicken dinner. After a few moments they miraculously had waffle batter. So we had the chicken and waffles.
It was delicious. $8 gets you a waffle and four small chicken strips. No fries. So it's a little pricey.
I probably won't come back due to it's just average and Zaxby's gives you basically the same thing. -

I love Slim Chickens. I love that I can get fried mushroom or pickles with my meal, and I love their tea. I stopped in here today for lunch, and those people working there were the sweetest, most respectful people I've seen in s while. You've got some great employees!
